La Vuelta a España 2023
On 28 and 29 August the best professionals in the world of cycling will pass through Andorra. The third stage of La Vuelta a España will arrive at the Grandvalira Resorts' Arinsal resort in the Comallemple area from Súria. On 29 August, the start of the fourth stage will be from the Parc Central in Andorra la Vella in the direction of Tarragona. The finish of the third stage will be the first with a high finish line.
The Principality has been the setting for La Vuelta on many occasions, such as the mythical 2019 stage, which was enjoyed entirely in the country, a mountain stage where 5 mountain passes were climbed.
In 2023, La Vuelta a España will celebrate its 78th edition, starting from the Olympic Port of Barcelona on 26 August and finishing in Madrid on 17 September, with 21 stages. After the Tour de France and the Giro d'Italia, it is the most important cycling race in the world.
