What's new in Grandvalira for winter 2022/23?

The time has come! It's time to dust off your boards, boots and poles and try on your ski suit to give them a tune-up. December 3 marks the start of a new ski season in Andorra.

Discover the new Grandvalira ski passes
As you may by now have heard, Grandvalira has included the slopes of Pal Arinsal under its management, as it did previously with those of Ordino Arcalís. From now on, the largest ski area in the Pyrenees and Southern Europe will be called Grandvalira Resorts and you will be able to ski in 303 kilometres of slopes under a single ski pass. 

• Andorra Pass 
  This pass gives you access to all the Grandvalira ski slopes, i.e. the sectors of Soldeu, El Tarter, Canillo Grau Roig, Pas de la Casa, el Peretol and Encamp. The multi-day ski pass also includes the slopes of Pal Arinsal and Ordino Arcalís. 
• Nord Pass
  This is the ski pass for skiing only in the resorts of Pal Arinsal and Ordino Arcalís, which are located in the northern valley of Andorra. Buying the Nord Pass for 4 days or more, you will be able to ski one of those days in Grandvalira.
• Mountain Pass
  This is the pass you have to buy if you want to go ski mountaineering or snowshoeing on the adapted circuits of all the resorts, including those of Naturland. It includes one ascent and descent per day and ski lift. 

Events calendar 
As we are used to, Andorra is the setting for major snow sports competitions. 

• The Alpine Ski World Cup Finals
  For the second time in the history of Grandvalira, the Soldeu and El Tarter sectors will host the men's and women's alpine skiing World Cup finals, from 13 to 19 March. An unmissable event for lovers of this sport.
• Freeride comes back to Ordino Arcalís
  A new edition of the Freeride World Tour is coming along with the Freeride Junior Tour, which will take place from 30 January to 5 February. This is the ninth edition to be held on the slopes of Ordino Arcalís. 
• The Kilometre Finals 
  The Riberal de Grau Roig piste will once again host the finals of the World Cup of the Kilometre Launching World Cup from 29th to 30th March. Speed in its purest form!

Grandvalira committed to the environment
This summer, the Soldeu and El Tarter sectors have been awarded the Green Light seal 
seal, which guarantees that all the electricity consumed is of renewable origin. This fact makes it possible to limit the CO₂ emissions generated and in the case of Soldeu - El Tarter represents a reduction in its carbon footprint of around 50%. This label is accredited by the company FEDA, the largest electricity company in Andorra, and the Soldeu and El Tarter sectors were the first to receive it.

Or, if you've forgotten something, you know that you can buy or rent it just a stone's throw from your hotel room. 
• Transfer to the slopes 
  When you arrive, park your car in our car park and avoid driving it to the slopes. With our private shuttle with continuous service during the opening hours of the slopes, we will take you to the Soldeu cable car so that you can leave the hotel with your boots on.
• Ski Room,
  And don't worry about where to leave your equipment. You can leave it in our Ski Room, spacious and with individual lockers for each room. Have breakfast, get ready comfortably and take our shuttle to the slopes that will pick you up in front of the ski room.
