Don Giovanni Ristorante Soldeu is our latest gastronomic offering, brought to you by the renowned Italian chef Andrea Tumbarello. Dining here is like taking a journey through authentic Italian cuisine, savoring the flavors of its dishes.

Get to know the soul of the ristorante: chef Andrea Tumbarello
He arrived in Andorra for the 2022-23 season with Park Piolets MountainHotel & Spa, as gastronomic advisor to the hotel's buffet restaurant. Now he is leading a new project relying on our experience: Don Giovanni Ristorante Soldeu.
Originally from the Sicilian city of Marsala, he has an outstanding career in the restaurant business, both for his restaurant in Madrid and for his work as a consultant in other establishments. His restaurant in Madrid was awarded as the best Italian in the city in 2012 and has received two Soles from the Repsol guide.
Tumbarello is also known for his passion for truffles, being a specialist in creating dishes with this ingredient. He has also developed a line of products based on this precious fungus, as well as honey, salts, butter, caviar and chocolates, among others.

Taste real Italian cuisine
The menu at Don Giovanni Ristorante Soldeu offers a wide selection of Italian dishes, prepared with top-quality, seasonal products, including some local ingredients.
You can enjoy authentic Italian pastas with traditional sauces, as well as dishes such as lasagna della mamma, risottos and parmigiana. We also have a wide variety of starters, pizzas and some meat and fish recipes.
Truffles are another speciality of the house. Like the ‘Millesimé’ egg, which combines free-range egg yolk, truffle caviar, truffle slices and boletus cream.
Don't forget to leave room for il dolce! Indulge in traditional desserts such as tiramisu, panna cotta and Sicilian cannolo.

A typical Trattoria atmosphere in Andorra
The restaurant is located on the ground floor of Park Piolets MountainHotel & Spa 5*, in Soldeu. It has been designed by Pilar Líbano, who has been in charge of the hotel's renovations since 2019. In the restaurant you will find a cosy atmosphere and a relaxed style, which will transport you to a typical trattoria in the heart of Italy, offering you a complete culinary experience. In addition, the large windows allow natural light to flood in during the day, which enhances the ambience. On the other hand, the decoration is dominated by noble materials such as wood, iron and textiles, integrating perfectly with the aesthetics of the rest of the hotel.

When can you come and taste the dishes at Don Giovanni Soldeu?
The new restaurant will be opening on 6 September.
During September it opens from Friday to Tuesday and closes on Wednesdays and Thursdays. In October it will be open from Wednesday to Sunday and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
The opening hours for lunch are from 13h to 15h and from 19h to 22h for dinner.

Wide gastronomic offer in Park Piolets
Don Giovanni Ristorante is one of the hotel's gastronomic attractions. The Buffet restaurant where you can enjoy rich and varied breakfasts and dinners, with 8 Show Cooking points, as well as views of the Grandvalira slopes. The Kao Soldeu restaurant, opened in 2019 headed by chef Josep María Kao, offers his most famous dishes of Chinese haute cuisine and has managed to position itself as one of the best Asian cuisine restaurants in the country. Finally, the Lounge Bar and the Moët & Chandon Terrace serve a more casual, but equally delicious, selection of dishes for lunch or dinner.
