Christma's time in Andorra
From 29th November to 5th January
Canillo:
Don't miss the traditional monumental Nativity scene in Canillo, made up of around 200 life-size figures spread throughout the town, from 5 December 2024 to 12 January 2025.
Stroll through Brilla Canillo and enjoy a tour of lights inspired by the cosmos, with sound effects, Christmas music, a food truck area and a children's train ideal for the little ones.
During the month of December, there will be a programme of live concerts with groups from the national scene
Experience the Christmas tradition with the Tió festival, on Sunday 15 December
From 14 to 23 December, Santa Claus's elves will receive letters from all the boys and girls.
On the 24th, attend the arrival of Santa Claus at the Palau de Gel.
The Christmas Eve Midnight Mass will take place at 24:00 in the church of San Serni.
Encamp and Pas de la Casa:
Santa Lucia market on December 6, 7 and 8 in Encamp.
On December 24, at 6 pm, Santa Claus will arrive at Pas de la Casa from the Grandvalira platform. At 6 pm, a parade will begin from Casa Cristo to the Festival Hall with a traveling show in Encamp.
The midnight mass will be celebrated at 7.30 pm in Sant Pere del Pas de la Casa and at midnight in Encamp in the church of Santa Eulàlia.
Ordino:
From 6 to 8/12/24 the Christmas fair takes place where activities for adults and children, entertainment and street shows are organized. On 8/12/24 at 11:45 am: performance of L'Última Ossa d’Ordino is part of the “Bear Festival of the Pyrenees”, a living testimony to the cultural and natural wealth of the area, which has been recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
Children will have a great time on December 24 with the "Caga Tió" and the arrival of Santa Claus. The midnight mass will be at midnight in the parish church.
The Andorra New Year's Concert is at the national auditorium of Ordino and is conducted by the ONCA (Andorra National Chamber Orchestra) on January 1 at 7 pm. This year it is dedicated to Strauss.
La Massana:
This year it visits a children's activity park with lights. On 24/12/23 at 5pm Santa Claus will arrive at the Plaça de Les Fontetes and at midnight the traditional Midnight Mass will take place in the church of Sant Iscle and Santa Victòria.
Andorra la Vella:
In the capital you will find the traditional Christmas market "el Poblet de Nadal" from November 29 to January 5, with typical items of this time of year and artisanal products from the Principality. It is completed with activities and attractions for the little ones, live music and a space for local gastronomy, as well as itinerant shows on Saturday afternoons.
Light, music and water show in the fountains of the Plaça de la Rotonda.
Sant Julià de Lòria:
Visit from Santa Claus on 24/12/24.
On 26 and 28/12/24 and 04 and 06/01/25 performance of the play Els Pastorets.
Popular Sant Silvestre race on 27/12/24
Escaldes-Engordany:
On 8/12/24 at 9:30 p.m. the gospel night arrives.
On 14 and 15/12/24: eighth edition of the Escaldes-Engordany Nativity Scene in the Sala Prat del Roure.
From December 20 to 26: the Caldes riverside promenade has organized an activity "the magical viewpoint", from 5:30 p.m. to midnight.
On December 21 and 22: visit the Playmobil city in Cal Paleta. On 24/12/24, starting at 5pm, Santa Claus will walk through the streets of the parish announcing his arrival and will end up in the Coprínceps square to collect letters from the little ones.
At midnight, the Midnight Mass will take place in the church of Sant Pere Màrtir.
